Curse of the Phantom Shadow - the captured Hero sequence. Our spy hero has been taken in by the Phantom shadow and is shown his evil plan. Work for this sequence consists of creating the interrogation room, and then compositing the live action into it. The key piece was the ibm 729 reel to reel computer storage to give the shots some motion. They are very static by nature, so the idea was to introduce some motion with an iconic computing device and lots of blinking lights. We are also trying to add smoke to these shots in a final pass to add a little bit more atmosphere.
